Went fishing in the channels had no luck. Nice just to ride on Gull Lake and enjoy the company and scenery
Best secluded and best resort I've been to, secluded cabins and a ton of stuff to do, there's a beach, many kayaks and canoes and even a paddle boat, the cabins have many games and stuff to read and do just inside them to pass the time, my favorite thing to do is to go kayaking in the canal by the resort. I will be planning to come back in the future. Great resort!
Have been going to this resort annually for 30 years. Went as a kid and now take my kids and will take my grandkids some day. Friendly, family run resort that holds a special place in my heart.

This slice of heaven would receive a 10 out of 5 starts if it were permitted. The property itself offers the most ideal rest and unwind escape destination ambience. It is located in an ideal location on Gull Lake. They have amenities for all ages, and the grounds are all very well kept. The cabins are absolutely wonderful with breathtaking views of Gull Lake. Sue, Keith, and the entire rest of the Samara Point Team are outstanding! They are exceptional human beings, are beyond gracious and hospitable, and they go out of their way to ensure that the guests enjoy their stay. They even go above and beyond and leave adorable welcome boards, delicious treats, and other 'nice little touches' that are unparalleled and make one feel special and welcome. Great view. Quiet beach spot. Quaint cabins with a lot of activities! Would 100% recommend a kayak ride.
This is the fifth time staying at this beautiful resort, and we’ll be back again next year. The cottages are spotless and well maintained and have everything you would need to cook a great meal (even the fish you may have caught) and a comfy place to relax. The view of the sunset is stunningly beautiful and the location is so peaceful. The owners are welcoming and gracious. Thank you for another great stay. See you next year.
We have been going for 26 years and intend to keep the streak going! My children now bring their children. It is a wonderful location meant for relaxing and escape from the busy, noisy world we live in.
